This project was very experimental, just how I like it! I deliberately stayed away from the box art and painted to my own ideas of how it should look. Pushing myself with the NMM as well ( with varying success) was great fun although I did also use metallics in some places. The photography was an experiment with backgrounds showing what a difference it can really make to the end photo! The barrel of the main gun was an attempt at NMM chrome. It isn’t perfect but looks much better with the background as it gives the visual reference for the reflections. As a footnote, I really need to look in to image/focus stacking for my pictures…
